On a cold night beneath Poland’s gas-lit streets, Abraham Laski—later known as Albini the Great—stepped onto a stage that would cement his legend. His illusions left audiences in awe, and his name soon spread across borders, becoming part of performance history.
Now, that legacy is reborn in The Great Albini (a video slot game by Foxium). The goal was to craft an unforgettable sound experience—a music score that felt sophisticated, dramatic, and theatrical, evoking the grandness of a live stage show. Foxium’s Creative Director, Daniil Sanders, sought to
imbue the music with the refinement and elegance of a Cirque du Soleil performance, bringing depth and richness to the game experience.
MADLORD was summoned to deliver this vision, sculpting an intricate soundtrack, sound design, and win sounds that brought Albini’s world to life. The result was more than just a music score—it became an audio performance,
rich with tension and grandeur, echoing the emotional arc of a magician’s show.
The soundtrack draws from exotic zithers and gypsy strings, adding allure and mystery, while the sound effects immerse players in the atmosphere—from the soft rustle of curtains to the celebratory chime of a winning spin. Every element was carefully orchestrated to deepen player engagement, creating a seamless blend of sound and illusion.
Upon hearing the final composition, Daniil Sanders remarked:
"This is the best music soundtrack of all our games."
